Family holidays in Ramsau am Dachstein
Hiking with children
Whoever thinks that a family hiking holiday in Ramsau am Dachstein is boring, is well mistaken. KALI the Ramsaurian makes sure that there is loads of fun, adventure and excitement. The dinosaur mascot is fond of nature and children, and always around with you.
KALI will show you kids the secrets of nature and bring you to the most adventurous places in Ramsau am Dachstein. Following KALI the Ramsaurian’s traces, parents don't need to worry about motivating their kids to hike together. Children can pick up their KALI hiking book at the Ramsau tourist office, a booklet with treasure maps, suggesting a treasure hunt while hiking. With these maps, children trace KALI the Ramsaurian and try to find the 11 stamp stations that are all over the Ramsau plateau. Each of these stations conforms to the living environment of one of KALI'S animal friends.
Meet, for instance, FLUTSCH the fish at the stamp station somewhere on the Rittisberg, or LÜMMEL the sheep, at the stamp station Alpine pastures. The stamp you find at each station goes on the relevant stamp pass. If you collect four stamps until the end of your holiday, you will get the KALI hiking certificate and, for a small fee, a special KALI hiking pin. In the children’s hiking book, there are also many KALI stories and colouring sheets.
That way, parents and children learn together about Ramsau am Dachstein's scenic beauties during their family holiday.
