With Nordic summer fitness the physical activities of running, Nordic walking, Nordic blading and ski jumping are circumscribed.
It's not just the fun aspect that's important - experiencing the beauty of nature too.
Nordic fitness activities train the cardio-vascular system as well as 90% of all muscles (running max. 45 %). Calorie consumption is accordingly high.
Ramsau am Dachstein is already used as a year-round training centre for cross country skiers, ski jumpers, biathletes and Nordic combined athlethes.
Ramsau has a Nordic Training Centre to satisfy the highest demands. This facility for performance diagnosis and training supervision can be made use of by all amateur sportsmen and guests of the Dachstein Tauern region.
