Ramsau Rössing loden fulling mill

This Lodenwalke or loden fulling mill, is Styria's oldest business and was mentioned in official documents as long ago as 1434. The free guided tour through the old, Styrian loden cloth factory gives you an insight into how loden fabric is manufactured. The tour explains the machinery and individual production stages, and at the end of the tour there is an opportunity to purchase items made from traditional Schladming loden.
