Insiders regard the "Edelgrieß" corrie descent as the best freeride run in the Alps. Sure footedness and great skill are necessary, however, to swing down the south face to Ramsau village, as you enjoy deep snow at 1,600 m in a spectacular rock corrie, and slopes with up to 45 degree gradients. There are corries, gullies and firn slopes between steep rock barriers and limestone faces. This spectacular descent totals eight kilometres in length. Our ski schools and mountain guides have plenty of other advice on tours waiting for you.
