Look forward to the Nordic skiing winter with world champions Dr Alois Stadlober and Markus Gandler: as a result of professional organisation and implementation by our world champions and outstanding cooperation with the industry, the start of the winter cross-country skiing season has become one of the major winter events. The world championship cross-country skiing package for active skiers and novices includes small group technique training, free product tests, practical training tips, personal video analysis, workshops and presentations on equipment, waxing, ski care, training, exhibitions and much more.

FIS Combined Nordic World Cup: 10-11 December 2011
Since the 1995/96 winter season Ramsau am Dachstein has been a fixture in the FIS Nordic Combined World Cup calendar. This year the world's best from the king of Nordic sports disciplines will try their luck on Ramsau am Dachstein's ski jump and cross-country trails. More than 50 athletes will compete for highly coveted World Cup points.
There will be two Gundersen competitions this year, each incorporating a jump from the HS98 ski jump and a 10 km cross-country sprint.

Tour de Ramsau and Dachstein Volkslanglauf: 13-15 January 2012
Ramsau am Dachstein's Volkslanglauf, or People's Cross Country, is a magnet for the public every year, attracting several hundred participants. The Tour de Ramsau, the only tour for amateur cross-country skiers, was warmly received and is thus being held again in 2011, with an opening sprint race on Friday, the popular Dachstein Volkslauf over 2 x 12.5 km courses on Saturday, and a spectacular mountain race (7 km) on the Rittisberg on Sunday.
