MTB tours in Ramsau am Dachstein

At over 170 kilometres in length and a difference in altitude of 4,700 to 7,900 metres (depending on the section), the "Dachsteinrunde" mountain bike circuit offers several different options. The major tour bases around the Dachstein range, which centre on the area where the Austrian states of Styria, Salzburg and Upper Austria converge, are Bad Goisern, Bad Aussee, Gröbming, Ramsau am Dachstein, Filzmoos, Annaberg, Pass Gschütt, Rossalm, Hallstatt and Gosau. The fabulous circuit, which incorporates everything in terms of cycling techniques and gastronomy , is not too difficult, and can easily be completed in four to five days.

Ramsau am Dachstein also contains numerous shorter, equally pleasant mountain bike and cycle tours for enthusiasts, which make the village and its surrounding hamlets a superb destination for cyclists and mountain bikers.
