A completely new and truly unique ski experience awaits visitors to Kali's winter wonderland in Ramsau am Dachstein! Kali, the village's dinosaur mascot, is present at every stage of the adventure. Fairytales come to life on the lifts and pistes, so little ones have loads of fun as they learn the correct techniques.

Children and adults are both entertained by a global concept which combines art and winter sports. Every single lift in Kali's winter wonderland is given over to a highly creative fairytale theme viewed through the eyes of children.

The magic lift, for example, takes you to five laboriously sculpted, outsize stone heads, named Eisklotte, Tannendreher, Ernstwich, Blasebüh and Doppelschlau, who tell a very special story and transport you to a completely different world.

It's especially exciting for children in Kali's winter wonderland, because they can become a caver as they ski to the Adlerhöhle, or Eagle's Cave and listen to an eagle's tale. At the Kristallhöhle, or Crystal Cave, they snap on their skis and head into the cave, where Kali will tell them the story of the Queen of the Crystal Mountain. Children have a chance to give free rein to their imaginations. Wooden signboards beside the lift and the piste also recount wonderful stories.

Not only is the magic of winter brought to life for children in sound and vision, ski instructors in Ramsau will show children their magic tricks and playfully show them the correct way to behave on the pistes, the right way to snowplough or parallel ski. The easy slopes in the Ramsau am Dachstein ski region are practically made for beginners and children of any age and are easy to ski. The human dinosaurs have thought up a special incentive for keen children – they will be rewarded with a plush Kali dinosaur.
