Children's via ferrata
Kali and Kala, children's via ferrate on the Sattelberg
Ramsau Children's Club set up the Kali children's via ferrata and Kala adolescents' via ferrata as a special attraction. The via ferrata, which is suitably anchored for children, leads from Ramsau's old corn mill to the Sattelberg's summit. At the summit there is a cross and a wonderful view of Kali the Ramsausaurus's kingdom. Children can then abseil down on the separate children's or adolescents' zip wire.
|
There is a flying fox (zip wire) at both via ferrate. These should ONLY be used under expert supervision – a "brakeman" (with brake rope) is required because otherwise you will smash into the tree at the bottom! |
Ramsau Children's Club activity programme, with mountain guide in the summer months.
Kali children's via ferrata every Wednesday from 09.00 (from 7 years old).
Kala adolescents' via ferrata every Thursday from 09.00 (from 9 years old).
