Cross country skiing and skating have become popular winter sports and are booming like never before. Physical activity outdoors revitalises the senses, fulfills the desire for health, fitness and beauty, and awakes a sense of well-being and mental balance.
A 150 km network of trails
(at altitudes of 1,100 - 2,700 m and of varying levels of difficuty - easy to demanding), 70 km for skating freestyle and 70 km network of footpaths are the best requisites for fulfilling these desires.
Experiences from professional sport have been handed down to amateur sport. Come and see for yourself. You too can benefit.

Trail fee for 150 km of sport and leisure trails.
For guests, spending their holiday in accommodation in Ramsau, the Ramsau trail fee (Loipi) is offered, as in previous years, by the Ramsau accommodation properties, the Tourist Office and other sales points for a price of € 25,- or € 17,- for the whole stay.

With lots of effort and service we will continue to meet the demands of our guests and visitors. We have bought new equipment and supplemented our trail preparation team. Meanwhile we have 4 experts caring for the Ramsau trails and winter footpaths
We therefore ask for your understanding in charging a trail fee.
18 km of well-groomed cross country trails.
Whilst the cows are grazing in the valley, the cross country world champions are already training on the Dachstein. Up to 700 athletes from 30 countries ski on the glacier trails daily.
