
The 5 hut path offers the most beautiful introduction to the Ramsau mountain pastures.
The classical of all Ramsau footpaths, which was already in use in Ramsau's pioneering days. The traditional mountain huts and the lovely mountain pastures with the high walls of the Dachstein south wall towering above are the prominent features of the walk.
The network of footpaths in the mountain pasture area is suitable for both walkers and hikers and prepared accordingly.

Walking time: Beautiful day walk, approx. 4 - 5 hrs. walking time as a circular walk. Return on the Ramsau "Türlwand" bus. Ascent 2-2 1/2 hrs.

Views: Fabulous views of the Dachstein south walls. Lots of mountain huts. Circular walk: Dachstein Südwand Hütte in 1,871 m above sea-level - Glös-Alm - Edelbrunn. From the Türlwand: Dachstein Glacier cable car valley station - bus stop at the end of the Dachstein road.
What else is there?: Trip up to the Glacier, a wide variety of walks in the alpine pasture area, the Alpine Museum at the traditional Austria Hütte. Alpine flora and "alpine sunsets" in the autumn - larch leaves changing colour.

| Pernerweg path - the route over the Tor |  | Type: High alpine circular hike at the foot of the Dachstein south walls.

Walking time: 4 - 5 hrs. with approx. 600 m height difference
Starting point: Türlwand - ends Dachstein road, Glacier cable car valley station |
| Characteristics: Impressive hike in the alpine pasture area. The Pernerweg path leads along the foot of the nearly 800 m high vertical south walls of the Dachstein, Mitterspitze and Torstein. The ascent to the "Tor", the huge corrie, the marmottes on route and the Neustattalms are veritable adventure points.
What else is there?: If you're lucky, you'll see chamois and ibex, orchids in early summer and the larch leaves changing colour in autumn.
Refreshment stops: Südwandhütte, Bachlalm, Glös-Alm, Hotel Türlwand, Dachstein and Hunerkogel. |

| Jungfrauen trail | Demanding hike, approx. 3 1/2 - 4 hours. Steep ascent from the plateau into high alpine terrain, connects to the high alpine footpath no. 672 Edelgriesskar. Steep ascent to the Brandalm and Austriahütte. Stamp points. Refreshment stops. |
| Hike to the Guttenberghaus | | Hike from the Hotel Feistererhof approx. 2 1/2 hours to the Guttenberghaus - Alpine Club hut, Height difference approx. 700 m. |
| Rittisberg Circular path "Hüttenberg" | Circular footpath around the Rittisberg, approx. 3 - 3 1/2 hours. Height difference 300 m, hike with lots of particularly romantic forest passages. Lovely views into the Enns Valley, of the Schladminger Tauern and the Dachstein Südwand. Stamp points. Refreshment stops. |

| Ramsau Bible Trail - on the trail of history |  | The so-called "Bible Trail" on the high alpine path from Ramsau am Dachstein to Gosausee counts amongst one of the classical walks in the Dachstein area.
In addition to the beauty of the nature and alpine countryside on this hike you will find out lots of facts about Ramsau's religious history.
During the prohibition of the Protestant faith farmers smuggled bibles from Gosau to Ramsau along the "Bible Trail". | This hike on the trail of history leads as "Pernerweg" path at the foot of the Dachstein south walls, as "Linzerweg" path underneath the Gosaustein, and as "Austria-Weg" path underneath the Gosaukamm to the Gosausee Lake.
Tip: It is recommended this hike should be spread over 3 days. |
| Dachstein Path | The "Dachsteinweg" path used to be called the "Austria-Hütten-Weg" by mountaineers. It can be walked in summer and winter and leads from the centre of Ramsau to the alpine pasture area. The visitor to Ramsau today just sees the "current picture". How Ramsau developed into the resort it is today remains unknown. The "Dachsteinweg" highlights the historical developments and informs the interested guest about the progresson of a farming village into a farming and tourist region. Height difference 500 m. |
