FAIRY TALE TRAIL ON THE RITTIS MOUNTAIN
The Rittisberg is an oasis of well-being. This mountain brings together young and old, sportsmen, adventurers and pleasure-seekers. The numerous footpaths around the Rittisberg are ideal for relaxing and fun outings, whether on foot, by bike or in a horse-drawn carriage.
A paradise for children
The Rittisberg offers nearly everything to make children's eyes grow wide in amazement. Flowers, animals, lots of new things to be discovered and explored. The fairy tale path up the Rittisberg, takes you to another world, tells incredible stories, offers children the chance to play and dream.
Fairy tale path
To the left of the bottom station of the 4-person chairlift up the Rittisberg starts the fairy tale path, which leads to the "Rittisstadl" in about one hour's walking time. Before you start, however, don't forget to pick up your competition card at the exit point "Beach".

The gentle gravel footpath leads past the lovingly created fairy tale figures up to the top station at around an altitude of 1,500 m.
The Rittisstadl is well-known as one of the most beautiful viewing points in Ramsau.
A stop on the sun terrace is recommended, whilst the children play with the pets, who are just waiting to be sroked by little visitors. |
There's a reason for getting a competition card: those of you who look at the fairy tale figures very carefully and hand in your completed card at the mountain station, will get a little surprise.
A fun idea for getting back down again.
At the Rittisstadl you can borrow scooters and whizz back down the valley. If the lift is running Mum & Dad can ride down in comfort back to the valley station.
Visit the Rittisberg, which is full of action. Awaken the sporting spirit in you, open your eyes to nature and savour the unique panorama.
